Public Image Task Force Needs Your Help
Your help is needed. The Iowa State Bar Association is undertaking some efforts to increase lawyers’ clients, improve existing clients' confidence in their lawyers and increase the awareness of what lawyers do and how they can help. This will be accomplished through brochures on how lawyers can help with various tasks such as buying a house, ads run by the Bar Association, ads run by lawyers and law firms, firm brochures, increased awareness of the ISBA mock trial project and improving relationships between the media and lawyers. To evaluate the success of this campaign, which will run until February 1, 2007, we need 200 lawyers who are willing to report monthly the number of existing clients who saw or heard the ads or brochures and the number of new clients or potential clients as a result of the ads or brochures. The volunteer lawyers will be given a Reporting Form and asked to inquire of existing clients if they have heard any of the ads or seen the brochure and to ask new clients if they contacted the attorney as a result of the ads or brochure. The volunteers are needed throughout the state and in various sized firms and practice environments. If you are willing to volunteer, please e-mail Tom Lawler at tlawler@forbin.net with your name, address and telephone number. Thanks for volunteering to help the ISBA. View Task Force Report
